Daily Readings
Ord. Wk 4th: Saturday 4th February, 2012 (Mk 6:30-34)
Prayer – Silence:
In today’s Gospel, Jesus shows us the
>importance
to “go away to a
>lonely place to pray.”
All of us need some
>silence
and
>space
in our daily living in order to be able to
>sense
the sacred presence of
>God
>loving
and
>caring us
at all times. Do this daily and you will
>develop
an
>intimate relationship with the Lord.
Ord. Sunday Wk 5th: 5th February, 2012 (Mk 1:29-39)
Priorities and Focus – Faith:
Even though Jesus had a
very hectic day
of serving so many people, He never failed to
pray
and
proclaim
the
Good News
to all peoples.
Jesus will not be caught up by the clamour of the crowd. He had very
clear priorities
and was
very focused
on His mission. What about us?
Fr Philip Heng,SJ

'Jesus saw a vast crowd. He pitied them, for they were like sheep without a shepherd; and He began to teach them at great length.' Mk 6:34
