4th Sunday of Lent
- "Joyful" Sunday -
29 Mar 03 (Sat). SARS came to Holy Family Church
today as we were told not hold and shake hands, hug or kiss, and
receive Holy Communion on our lips, during mass. Despite this
and the ongoing outbreak, church was as crowded as before.
We continued with rosary after mass, in the choir
room. Elden was treated to a surprise birthday
mini-celebration after rosary.
For practice after mass, we went through the songs Only Your
Love, The Kind of a Kingdom and You are my Shepherd. Another
surprise birthday celebration was in order later that night as
we gathered at the Cheescake Cafe (Siglap) with past Genesians
to wish Aaron a happy birthday.

Peace Rally Fri
21 Mar 03 - Even as I'm writing this down, US cruise
missiles and bombs have hit targets in Iraq. The peace rally to

may be too late in averting war, but our prayers for the victims
of war must continue. Let's try to go down for this rally.
