Adrian Lim: It was most definitely when we sang the song "God rejoices when the lost is found" after an afternoon session by Mel and after mass (Remember that?? :p) I was introduced to that song during one of the rcia sessions just weeks before the camp. The song lyrics immediately spoke volumes to me and I took weeks to hunt down that song from the person who played the CD. I almost didnt get the CD until just 2 days before the camp, the rcia coordinator got back to me and offered it to me. :p Now i thank God for it cuz its just the way you guys expressed the song that rocked me. It's more than the lyrics now, its that intense passion for singing for God that so joyously rang out this time around. And the message about lost sheep, coins and the prodigal son were just so apt, implying the acceptance, love, understanding and family that we'll always find in this God-centred community - time and time again! "So God rejoices when the lost is found, every wayward soul comes to holy ground, like the the humble sinner that was turned around, God rejoices when the lost is found!" Darren Leong: "I have 2 favourite moments... When we were doing the action song "Don't build your house on a sandy land" in one big grand circle; and we split into two groups to do the canon, there's a pic of us doing the action for "rock" and we all look like we're prostrating toward Mecca LOL... could we do it one more time and record it on video? Skipping rope: where we tried to squeeze 10 pple (or more....) + Ferdi, to skip simultaneously; and how the better ones tried to help those who were trying it out, and not exclude them.
Ferdi: Too many to mention but what lays close to heart would be when the youngens gathered in my room... and we talked. And slowly one by one... they fell asleep... Jeremy Bek I think it was when Isabelle cried at a non-crying session... cause i know that in some way, she must have felt the way i felt 11 years ago at my first GII camp (ok ok, i'm old). That GII has now become a family to her, and she, a part of this loving community. I'm sure all you other "macho" boys felt it too but thought it wasn't cool to cry and for that, i'm glad too. Jasmine: i guess my fav part of the camp was the first day....it was really fun...carrying of crosses and eating bread <my least fav> and 3 tiny hotdogs for lunch. although we kind of 'suffered' but i could see the team work we had as a group...i love my group PLOD! we really stayed together..during the games when we work hard to do well but we almost got into trouble with all the 'gossips' tat melvin had for the other groups..OPPS! but i could see all the unity and bond we had..not only as a group but a community Nicole Mathiaz: Hiee =) camp, i miss it already! =( .. anyway, the best camp moment, for me, was after the supposedly "non-crying" session, which made quite a few of us cry. the traditional hugging and comforting for some. i think its one of the most meaningful parts of camp. still rember last year's camp - i recall almost half the ppl present crying. sad we only had one "crying" session this time. *hinthint* .. hehe .. oh ya! not forgetting the funny hand concentration games, the pocky game and gossip sessiosn!
