GII had a very special dinner with her founder, Valerian Cheong now Father Valerian, in celebration of his ordination to the priesthood in August 2005. Held at Pan Pacific Hotel, more than 50 of us had a function room, great food, great ambience, and great company to give thanks to God for His years of blessings and a future of endless possibilities.
It was a night of performances - by Dione, Priscilla and Joanna with their harmonious voices; by the alumni who sang and told Val that he could always "lean on us"; and a skit of Val's call to priestly life with the Bohemian Rhapsody as the theme song!
